Nearly half a dozen Chinese companies, including AI-linked names, aim to raise more than US$2 billion ahead of Hong Kong listings this month, encouraged by strong investor appetite for tech-related assets.

Lingyi iTech (Guangdong) plans to raise up to 8.26 billion Hong Kong dollars, equivalent to US$1.05 billion. The intelligent manufacturing and hardware company is offering 811.8 million shares at HK$10.18 each at the top end, it said Wednesday.

Founded in 2006, Shenzhen-listed Lingyi provides core components for consumer electronics, automotive applications and robotics, including supplying hardware for artificial-intelligence terminals.

It aims to use the proceeds from its offering to invest in equipment for its production, scale its manufacturing structure and boost its core research and development capabilities.

Fabless semiconductor company SG Micro aims to collect up to HK$4.60 billion via its offering of 54.0 million shares. The company, which is also listed in Shenzhen, plans to offer its shares at up to HK$85.20 each.

The company develops analog integrated circuits used in electronic systems. It aims to use the net proceeds from the offering to boost its R&D and product portfolio over the next five years, and for potential acquisitions.

Separately, Circuit Fabology Microelectronics Equipment seeks to raise up to HK$3.24 billion from the sale of 12.8 million shares. The company, which makes printed-circuit board direct-imaging equipment used in the semiconductor industry, expects to price its shares between HK$240.09 and HK$252.73 each.

The Shanghai-listed company aims to use part of the proceeds to boost its R&D and expand its production capacity.

Beijing Zhongke WengeAI Science & Technology aims to raise HK$900.5 million from the sale of 14.8 million shares at HK$60.70 apiece in its initial public offering. The enterprise AI technology and service provider aims to use the proceeds from the IPO to invest in its foundational models and R&D, among other uses.

Shares of the tech companies, along with those of parking-space operator Keytop Parking, are set to start trading on June 26.

Hong Kong's IPO market has been running hot, with companies raising around HK$166.8 billion in the first five months of 2026 via listings in the city, surging from HK$79.2 billion raised over January to May last year, data from Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing showed.
