# Don't just focus on the 30,000 yuan price cut of NIO-SW, the long-criticized battery swap may face a formal test | Jianzhi Research

On the morning of June 12th, NIO-SW, which has always been known for "never lowering prices", announced a price reduction of 30,000 yuan for all its models. However, correspondingly, NIO-SW's profit-making ability, which it has always provided, has decreased four times.

Since February of this year, NIO-SW's sales have been in a continuous MoM decline, dropping from a monthly sales volume of 12,000 directly to 6,000, and the deterioration of NIO-SW's sales has directly dragged down its revenue and profit-making ability. In the first quarter of this year,
