# Flatellite, the CEO of RKLB can't wait

Flatellite：  
This is a new product officially announced by Rocket Lab (stock code RKLB) around late February 2025. The comments you heard from CEO Peter Beck during the Q4 earnings call were most likely referring to this.

    Flatellite is a new type of "satellite platform" (also called "satellite bus" or "spacecraft platform") developed by Rocket Lab. -   Who are the target customers?  
    Rocket Lab is primarily promoting Flatellite to two types of customers: those in the national security and defense sectors, and commercial companies needing to deploy large-scale satellite constellations.
-   Strategic significance for Rocket Lab?  
    Flatellite is a key step in Rocket Lab's strategy to become an "end-to-end" space services company.
