Its pointed spire, round body, and five-pagoda structure are very common in Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos.Actually, it's not surprising. The Guandu Jingang Pagoda is itself a Theravada Buddhist architectural site in the Yunnan region, different from the Han Chinese Buddhist architecture of the Central Plains. Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos are also places where Theravada Buddhism is prevalent. The species, ethnic groups, climate, and culture vary across Yunnan. The richness of its ecological diversity is breathtaking, giving a strong feeling of a "mini United Nations," especially in winter. Not only is it favored by many people from northern China, but there are also many people from Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, and even Europe and America living here. This place has romantic scenery and exotic charm, as well as cross-sections of cultural heritage, like historical reflections, mirroring the Chinese people's spirit of making a home anywhere and their long, continuous history.Because we had an 80-year-old elder, travel wasn't very convenient, and we couldn't go to places with high physical demands. We also had to consider factors like food, leisure, and distance. It was very tedious to look up information for each attraction online one by one myself, so I simply left everything to AI. I had Meituan's "Ask Xiao Tuan" help plan the itinerary and specific experience route. The result was not only very efficient but also quite satisfactory.Ask Xiao Tuan recommended Guandu Ancient Town. Considering it's the fourth day of the Lunar New Year and many restaurants aren't open yet, while Guandu Ancient Town is bustling and commercially prosperous, it might indeed be a nearly perfect place for us. Inside the ancient town, Ask Xiao Tuan further recommended destinations like snacks, tea houses, the Fading Temple, the Jingang Pagoda, and the Twin Pagodas. The teahouse it recommended is called An Cheng Story. It's on the second floor of the old street. Only after arriving did I learn it's a popular social media check-in spot. The decor style is 80s nostalgia, simple but with distinct character. Business is quite good; all the window seats were full, so we had to sit in the inner courtyard. The owner looked very kind. We're used to eating plain sunflower seeds, so we asked if we could switch. He said they didn't have plain ones, but these flavored sunflower seeds were stir-fried with dried tangerine peel, so they wouldn't cause internal heat and were better than regular seeds. At the end, he even wished us a happy Spring Festival.Borrowing the owner's auspicious words, I also wish all friends a happy Spring Festival and a new year better than the last.$MEITUAN(03690.HK)" datetime: "2026-02-21T02:56:16.000Z" locales: - [en](https://longbridge.com/en/topics/38814932.md) - [zh-CN](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/topics/38814932.md) - [zh-HK](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/topics/38814932.md) author: "[走马财经](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/profiles/2493942.md)" --- > 支持的語言: [English](https://longbridge.com/en/topics/38814932.md) | [简体中文](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/topics/38814932.md) # When I saw the Jingang Pagoda in Guandu Ancient To… ### 相關股票 - [MEITUAN (03690.HK)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/03690.HK.md) - [Meituan (MPNGY.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/MPNGY.US.md) - [MEITUAN-WR (83690.HK)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/83690.HK.md) - [Meituan HK SDR 5to1 (HMTD.SG)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/HMTD.SG.md)
