Apple fell nearly 2%, and options trading increased to 680,000 contracts, with a call option ratio of 52.7%.
Microsoft, Sofi Tech, and Amazon all had options trading volume exceeding 500,000 contracts, with call options dominating.
Citigroup and Google Class A both had options trading volume exceeding 400,000 contracts, also dominated by call options.
Put options with an expiration date of January 17, 2025, and a strike price of $10 for Medical Properties Trust (MPW) traded nearly 70,000 contracts.
