Affiliate of United Energy Group plans to acquire all shares of Green Profit EOOD for 37.5 million euros

Union Energy Group plans to acquire all the shares of Green Profit EOOD for 37.5 million euros, in order to obtain Bulgaria's photovoltaic power generation facilities and related licenses. The Bulgarian government is committed to developing the renewable energy industry and has set a goal to double the renewable energy generation capacity by 2024. It is expected that Bulgaria will become one of the best-performing countries in the European Union. After the completion of the transaction, Union Energy Group plans to start operating the country's largest solar power generation facility by 2025.
