Last week, both the Hong Kong and US stock markets experienced volatile gains.
In the Hong Kong stock market, the leading tech companies had mixed performances. Only Xiaomi and Tencent saw gains, rising by 6.7% and 1.8% respectively. However, Kuaishou plummeted by nearly 9%, while Baidu and NetEase dropped by over 2%. Alibaba fell by 1.6%, Meituan dropped by nearly 1%, and JD.com saw a slight decrease.
As for the seven tech giants in the US stock market, only Tesla and Apple experienced declines, with decreases of 7% and 0.2% respectively. Meta surged by over 5%, Microsoft rose by 2%, NVIDIA increased by over 1%, and Google and Amazon rose by nearly 1%.
