Invesco Q1 significantly increased its holdings in Microsoft and Amazon, while establishing a position in "Little Intel" Astera Labs

According to the disclosure from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) obtained by Zhitong Finance APP, global asset management giant Invesco submitted its first quarter holdings report (13F) up to March 31, 2024. Statistics show that Invesco's Q1 total holdings value reached $466 billion, compared to $420 billion in the previous quarter, representing a nearly 11% increase. In the first quarter, Invesco added 202 new stocks to its portfolio, increased holdings in 2095 stocks, reduced holdings in 1504 stocks, and cleared out 167 stocks. The top ten holdings accounted for 15.65% of the total value. In Invesco's top ten heavy-weight stocks in the first quarter, Microsoft (MSFT.US) ranked first with approximately 36.27 million shares, a holding value of about $15.3 billion, accounting for 3.28% of Invesco's investment portfolio, an increase of 4.81% from the previous quarter. Nvidia (NVDA.US) ranked second with approximately 12.21 million shares, a holding value of about $11 billion, accounting for 2.37% of the portfolio, a slight decrease of 0.39% from the previous quarter. Apple (AAPL.US) ranked third with approximately 53.9 million shares, a holding value of about $9.2 billion, accounting for 1.99% of the portfolio, an increase of 5.55% from the previous quarter. Amazon (AMZN.US) ranked fourth with approximately 48.52 million shares, a holding value of about $8.8 billion, accounting for 1.88% of the portfolio, an increase of 2.33% in holdings from the previous quarter. Meta (META.US) ranked fifth with approximately 16.64 million shares, a holding value of about $8.1 billion, accounting for 1.48% of the portfolio, a decrease of 4.32% in holdings from the previous quarter. Invesco's sixth to tenth largest holdings are Google-A (GOOGL.US), Broadcom (AVGO.US), Google-C (GOOG.US), Visa (V.US), and JPMorgan Chase (JPM.US). In terms of changes in holdings, Invesco's top five purchases in the first quarter were Microsoft, Amazon, Disney, the world's largest industrial gas supplier Linde (LIN.US), and Broadcom Of note, Invesco increased its holdings in UnitedHealth (UNH.US), Exxon Mobil (XOM.US), Eli Lilly (LLY.US), among others in the first quarter. New additions include Astera Labs (ALAB.US), which went public this year and is known as "Little NVIDIA", and the gambling company Flutter Entertainment (FLUT.US). Invesco's top five divestments in the first quarter were Adobe (ADBE.US), Yum China (YUM.US), Invesco S&P Low Volatility ETF (SPLV.US), Comcast (CMCSA.US), and S&P Global (SPGI.US).
