Chinese Estates Holdings' stock surged by over 40% at one point. Both the Hang Seng Index and the H-share Index rebounded in the final trading session. By the closing bell, the Hang Seng Index was up by 45.19 points, with a turnover of HKD 937.43 billion. Blue-chip stocks performed well, with China Mengniu Dairy Company leading the gains. Among other blue-chip stocks, Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals and Longfor Group saw significant increases, while SMIC and Ali Health declined.
