The Tesla Model X AWD, on the other hand, now starts at $79,990 before options. This means that the Model X AWD still qualifies for the federal tax credit, as its price is below the IRA’s $80,000 cap for SUVs. In Canada, industry watchers have observed that the Model S AWD has seen a price increase of CAD 6,000, resulting in the all-electric sedan now starting at CAD $103,990.
