IT, semiconductor among top potential sectors for cooperation between Việt Nam and RoK

IT and semiconductor industries are identified as priority sectors for cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea, according to a survey by the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). Other attractive sectors for cooperation include green energy, finance, and fintech. The survey also highlights the electricity and electronic industry as the sector generating the highest economic value in the cooperation between the two countries. Trade and investment expansion, stability of supply chain, and job generation are seen as positive impacts of economic cooperation. Vietnamese firms hope for technology development and improvements in the domestic industrial structure through cooperation with Korean firms.
