MTR CORPORATION announced that in order to accommodate the large-scale track realignment project for the Tung Chung Line extension, train services between Tung Chung Station and Sunny Bay Station on the Tung Chung Line will be suspended approximately 2 hours earlier on October 26th. MTR will provide free shuttle buses between the two stations. The engineering team will make every effort to ensure the smooth progress of the project, allowing the Tung Chung Line to resume normal service the next day. Train services on other sections will remain normal until the end of service. The Tung Chung Line extension project is currently underway, involving the construction of Tung Chung East Station and the realignment of new tracks to connect to the new station. There are 4 additional track switch installation procedures that will require extended non-operational hours. MTR will make adjustments according to the progress of the project
