The market's high sensitivity to economic data is particularly evident in the current volatility. Due to recent panic selling, the S&amp;P 500 index dropped over 8% from its all-time high closing of 5667.2 on July 16th, falling to 5186.33 points on Monday, approaching the correction territory (a decline of over 10% from the peak).
