
Beijing Flood Control Office initiates Level IV emergency response for flood control in 11 districts
Currently, Beijing has issued a blue alert for heavy rain, a blue alert for mountain flood disasters, and a blue alert for waterlogging. In mountainous and hilly areas, secondary disasters such as flash floods, mudslides, and landslides may occur due to heavy rainfall, while low-lying areas may experience waterlogging. At 17:00 on August 25th, the Beijing Flood Control Office initiated a level IV emergency response for flood prevention in Changping, Haidian, Shijingshan, Fengtai, Xicheng, Dongcheng, Chaoyang, Fangshan, Mentougou, Daxing, and Tongzhou districts. All relevant units in the city are implementing rain prevention and response measures in accordance with the contingency plan, closely monitoring localized heavy rainfall processes, and carrying out flood prevention-related work effectively
