BYD, the &#34;king of comparison,&#34; maintained its leading position in new energy vehicles, with sales of 419,426 vehicles in September, a year-on-year increase of 45.6%. The sales of pure electric passenger cars reached 164,956 units. SAIC Group closely followed, with preliminary statistics showing that the sales of new energy vehicles by SAIC Group in September exceeded 129,000 units, a year-on-year increase of about 38%. In addition, Xiaomi delivered over 10,000 units of the SU7 in September, achieving the goal of exceeding 10,000 deliveries for the fourth consecutive month. The production and delivery target for October is to exceed 20,000 units. Xiaomi's factory will continue to increase production in October, aiming to produce 20,000 units in a single month. It is expected to achieve the annual delivery target of 100,000 units ahead of schedule in November.
Lei Jun, Chairman of Xiaomi Group, stated during a live broadcast that 20,000 units of the Xiaomi car SU7 will be delivered in October. Lei Jun also mentioned that Xiaomi has been receiving over 4,000 new orders per week for the Xiaomi car since September, with delivery schedules already extending to February next year.
Furthermore, ZEEKR and NIO both delivered over 20,000 units in September.
