Tesla's night trading once surged by 5%, but then plunged by 4%.
Tesla continued to plummet in pre-market trading, currently down by 6.2%, while Tesla's Robotaxi competitors Uber and Lyft surged, up by 5% and 3.8% respectively.

As early as July 12th, Tesla fell by 8.4%, affected by the delay of the Robotaxi release from August to October, while Uber and Lyft rose by 6.1% and 4.6% respectively on that day.
Today, Tesla held a Robotaxi launch event, making a lot of noise but losing money. Due to factors such as not announcing the long-awaited $25,000 low-cost model and the high cost of the self-driving taxi Cybercab, the stock price fell.
Dolphin Research predicts that Tesla will create a self-owned travel platform similar to Uber. Previously, Tesla had already demonstrated the model of its Robotaxi's ride-hailing app. The entry barrier for the travel platform is not high, and the differentiation competition of the platform lies more in ecology and traffic.
Although autonomous driving companies have built their own travel platforms (such as Robo-Taxi, Waymo, etc.), Waymo also cooperates with Uber. On the one hand, due to the limited layout of Waymo's autonomous vehicles, the advantage of the travel platform lies in having a sufficient density of operational vehicles on the ride-hailing platform. Tesla has a similar relationship with Uber and Lyft.
