Recently, the China Civil Aviation Science Popularization Foundation, under the supervision of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, announced the list of China's civil aviation science popularization education bases for 2024. EHang, along with China Civil Aviation University, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Sichuan Branch, and a total of 26 units, has been officially recognized as a 2024 civil aviation science popularization education base, valid until 2028. After the processes of application acceptance, material review, on-site review, final approval, and public announcement, this list was officially released after being reviewed and approved by the chairman's office of the China Civil Aviation Science Popularization Foundation. EHang is the only selected electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft technology company
