Follow-up on Alibaba's e-commerce organizational adjustments and some other details

On November 25th, Jin10 Data reported that after Alibaba established its e-commerce business group and integrated domestic and international e-commerce operations, some personnel adjustments beyond CEO Jiang Fan are also set to follow. Currently, Wu Jia, president of the Taotian user platform and Alibaba Mama division, will be transferred to Alibaba Cloud; while Zhang Kaifu, who previously led the AI business in the international sector and had earlier been responsible for the Taobao industry, will replace Wu Jia in his current position. The Alibaba e-commerce business group currently has four main businesses: Taobao Tmall, international e-commerce (International Station, AliExpress, Lazada, Miravia, Trendyol, Daraz), and two innovative businesses, Xianyu and 1688. Among these businesses, except for Xianyu, both Taobao Tmall and 1688 have made moves to expand overseas this year. It is understood that as early as April this year—after the end of Alibaba's last fiscal year—Taobao began to seek growth overseas.
