
JP Morgan abandons its pessimistic forecast for the S&P 500, expecting an 8% increase in 2025
After maintaining a bearish outlook on the S&P 500 index for two consecutive years, JP Morgan now predicts that this U.S. benchmark stock index will rise over the next year. According to a report sent to clients by Dubravko Lakos-Bujas on Wednesday, the bank's target for the S&P 500 index in 2025 is 6,500 points, which is 55% higher than the previous two-year forecast of 4,200 points, indicating an approximate 8% increase from Tuesday's closing level of 6,021.63 points
