Tesla launches ASS feature in China for vehicles equipped with EAP or FSD

Following the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, Tesla has officially launched the Advanced Smart Summon (Actually Smart Summon, ASS) feature in China. The American electric vehicle manufacturer announced on Weibo on December 13 that the ASS feature is now available in China, allowing Tesla owners to operate their vehicles through the Tesla mobile app to automatically drive out of parking spaces and come to the owner's side or to a specified location on the owner's phone, while the vehicle must remain within the owner's line of sight during the movement. It is worth noting that this feature will be pushed to owners through OTA remote software updates in the future. This feature is applicable to models equipped with Enhanced Autopilot (EAP) or Full Self-Driving (FSD) capabilities. This means that owners with the free Basic Autopilot (BAP) feature will not be able to use this function. In China, the cost for FSD is 64,000 yuan, while EAP costs 32,000 yuan. It is understood that Tesla officially launched the ASS feature in the United States in September this year and brought it to Europe and the Middle East last month
