
CHOW TAI FOOK's Canadian branch was robbed again
According to a report by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on December 30, a smash-and-grab incident occurred that evening at a shopping mall in Toronto, where four robbers stormed into the CHOW TAI FOOK jewelry store to commit robbery. This was the second time this branch had been robbed in a month. The report stated that around 8 PM, four masked robbers armed with hammers rushed into the jewelry store, smashing glass display cases and looting merchandise before attempting to flee the scene on foot. Officers who received the emergency call arrived at the scene at 8:43 PM and arrested one of the robbers. On December 16, this store had also been robbed using the same method, during which security personnel filmed the incident with their phones but did not intervene. Following the incident on December 30, local police stated that they would make every effort to track down the robbers and would increase police presence in the vicinity of the mall
