On January 10, OOIL released the unaudited operational summary for Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) for the fourth quarter ending December 31, 2024. The total revenue for the fourth quarter ending December 31, 2024, increased by 55.0% compared to the same period last year, reaching USD 2.514 billion. Total cargo volume rose by 6.1%, and capacity increased by 4.2%. The overall load factor increased by 1.5% compared to the same period in 2023, and the overall average revenue per standard container increased by 46.2% compared to the fourth quarter of last year. For the full year ending December 31, 2024, total revenue and total cargo volume increased by 30.2% and 3.5%, respectively, compared to the same period last year. Capacity rose by 0.3%, the overall load factor increased by 2.6% compared to the same period in 2023, and the overall average revenue per standard container increased by 25.8% compared to the same period last year
