IDC: In 2024, Apple's smartphone market share will be 18.7%, ranking first, while Xiaomi will be at 13.6%
Research institution IDC released preliminary data showing that in 2024, Apple holds the top position in the global smartphone market with an 18.7% market share, followed closely by Samsung at 18%, and Xiaomi at 13.6%. The market shares for the three companies in 2023 were 20.1%, 19.5%, and 12.5%, respectively. In 2024, Apple's shipment volume decreased by 0.9%, Samsung's shipment volume decreased by 1.4%, while Xiaomi's shipment volume grew the fastest, surging by 15.4%
