Goldman Sachs: In the era of intelligent driving, each car in China will be equipped with 5 cameras this year, and 10 cameras in 5 years

Goldman Sachs analysts expect that with the development of intelligent driving technology, the shipment volume of vehicle cameras in China will grow rapidly, reaching 126 million by 2025 and increasing to 343 million by 2030, with an average annual growth rate of 22%. The average number of cameras per vehicle will increase from 5 in 2025 to 10 in 2030. BYD's "Tianyan" intelligent driving solution will be equipped with 11-12 cameras, significantly higher than the 4 cameras in existing mainstream models. The trend of intelligent driving will drive the upgrade of camera specifications, with 8MP and above cameras occupying a larger market share in the coming years
