The National and Local Joint Innovation Center for Humanoid Robots (referred to as &#34;National and Local Center&#34;) released the world's first open-source public version of a general-purpose humanoid robot, &#34;Qinglong,&#34; last year, allowing Chinese humanoid robot companies to develop based on &#34;Qinglong&#34; without having to &#34;reinvent the wheel.&#34;
The National and Local Center also launched the world's first full-size humanoid robot open-source community, &#34;OpenLoong,&#34; to gather top talents to discuss and research common technologies while accumulating technological progress. Industry insiders have noted that in the open-source community, developers can also discuss issues such as ethical norms, making it easier to reach a consensus. After open-sourcing, relevant enterprises and technical personnel in the industry chain, including the brain, cerebellum, and entities, gather in the community, accelerating industry integration.
