The Ministry of Foreign Affairs responds to EU sanctions on Chinese enterprises: has made solemn representations to the EU side, urging the EU to stop slandering and shifting blame
At the regular press conference held by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on February 25, a foreign media reporter questioned the EU's sanctions against Chinese companies. In response, spokesperson Lin Jian stated that he had already expressed China's position on the relevant actions taken by Canada and elaborated on China's stance regarding the Ukraine crisis. "I want to emphasize that China's clear opposition to illegal unilateral sanctions is consistent. The normal exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Russian enterprises should not be disturbed or affected. We have made solemn representations to the European side on this matter, urging them to stop slandering and shifting blame on China without factual basis, and to cease harming the legitimate interests of Chinese enterprises," Lin Jian said
