Seeking to Control the Federal Election Commission, Trump is Sued
On February 28th local time, U.S. President Trump was sued by the Democrats due to a recent executive order, which the Democrats claimed granted Trump excessive power to control the independent Federal Election Commission, violating federal election laws. It is reported that the executive order gives the White House more control over the Election Commission, National Labor Relations Board, Securities and Exchange Commission, and other traditional independent agencies. Along with Trump, Attorney General Pam Bondi, the Election Commission, and three commissioners of the Election Commission were also sued
