Bank of America latest report: ROBOSENSE selected as a core supplier in the humanoid robot supply chain

(hereinafter referred to as the "Report"). RoboSense (02498) has been selected as a core supplier of global humanoid robot vision systems in the "Report" due to its business progress and technological accumulation in the field of robotic vision. RoboSense has industry-leading product strength and large-scale mass production application experience in the field of robotic vision, and will serve as a key component provider for humanoid robot vision systems, opening new growth points in the robotics sector. The Report points out that in the current global humanoid robot supply chain, RoboSense's high-performance LiDAR products are used in robotic environmental perception and navigation systems, helping robots accurately construct 3D point cloud maps for precise obstacle avoidance and path planning. Bank of America believes that LiDAR excels in long-distance measurement, adaptability to complex environments, and resistance to strong light interference, making it the preferred choice for outdoor scene vision solutions for humanoid robots. The vision system is a key "sensor" for humanoid robots to achieve autonomous interaction and complex tasks, and LiDAR has become the core of differentiated competition among leading manufacturers due to its high precision and reliability. At the same time, based on its vision of becoming a "global leading robotics technology platform company," RoboSense is increasing its R&D investment and has successively implemented related technological achievements, including the second-generation dexterous hand Papert 2.0, the E1R customized for intelligent robots, new generation digital LiDAR such as Airy, and the new category of robotic vision solutions Active Camera. Among them, the second-generation dexterous hand Papert 2.0 has 20 degrees of freedom, a maximum load of five kilograms, and a total of 14 force sensors on the fingertips and palm, which can be combined with the perception system to form a "hand-eye coordination" solution. Bank of America also pointed out that dexterous hands, actuator modules, sensor systems, and control systems will form the key components of the humanoid robot industry. Bank of America has also conducted a detailed analysis of the cost structure of humanoid robot components. It is expected that by 2030, actuators will account for more than 50% of the total material costs, followed by dexterous hands at 19%, and vision and other sensor systems at 4%. Bank of America predicts that humanoid robots are about to leave the concept verification stage and may soon usher in an explosive period of multi-industry applications. It is expected that by 2030, global annual sales of humanoid robots will reach 1 million units, and by 2060, the total number of humanoid robots in use will reach 3 billion units, equivalent to an average of 0.3 robots per person at that time. Bank of America optimistically estimates: "Similar to the Chinese electric vehicle market, we believe that once more components are commercialized and put into mass production, the penetration rate of humanoid robots will rise rapidly."
