The revenue growth was mainly driven by the contributions from the acquisition of CashBox Group and Beijing Liheng Group, as well as steady growth in commercial factoring and other financial services
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, TONGTONG AI SOC (00628) announced its annual performance for the year ending December 31, 2024, with the group achieving revenue of HKD 264 million, a year-on-year increase of 221.98%; the profit attributable to the company's owners was HKD 39.641 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.15%; and earnings per share were HKD 0.0098.
The announcement stated that the significant increase in revenue was mainly due to: the group's acquisition of CashBox Group Technology (Hong Kong) Limited (CashBox) on June 21, 2024, which contributed revenue of HKD 139.9 million (CashBox acquisition); the group's acquisition of Beijing Liheng Group through contractual arrangements in August 2024, which contributed revenue of HKD 10.5 million; and the steady growth of the group's commercial factoring and other financial services businesses
