
SK Hynix acquires Intel's semiconductor storage technology company, the latter increases capital to 360 million
According to the Tianyancha App, recently, Intel Semiconductor Storage Technology Co., Ltd. underwent a business change, with Intel Asia Holding Limited exiting the shareholder list and SK Hynix's subsidiary, ISOCELL Hynix Semiconductor Co., Ltd., becoming a shareholder with 100% ownership. The registered capital increased from 50 million RMB to approximately 360 million RMB, and several executives also changed. Intel Semiconductor Storage Technology Co., Ltd. was established in July 2021, with KIM YOUNG-SIK as the legal representative. Its business scope includes customs supervision of goods storage services, integrated circuit manufacturing, integrated circuit chip and product manufacturing, electronic component manufacturing, and manufacturing of electronic special materials. According to media reports, on March 27 local time, SK Hynix completed the acquisition of Intel's NAND business. As early as October 20, 2020, SK Hynix and Intel jointly announced the signing of an acquisition agreement in South Korea, under which SK Hynix agreed to acquire Intel's NAND SSD business, NAND components, and wafer business for $9 billion, including Intel's NAND flash manufacturing plant in Dalian, China
