On April 10, Honda announced that its nomination committee made an internal decision regarding personnel changes on the board of directors, which will take effect at the annual shareholders' meeting scheduled for June. Specifically, former Minister of China and current Executive Officer Masashi Inoue will join the company's board of directors. Earlier this week, Honda announced that its director and vice president Shinji Aoyama resigned. Aoyama was previously accused of inappropriate behavior at social gatherings outside of work hours
