
Chinese enterprises undertake the construction of Cambodia National Road 71C, now open for use
Cambodia's National Road 71C was officially opened for traffic on the 12th local time. Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wenbin attended the opening ceremony held in Tbaung Khmum and delivered speeches. The National Road 71C is 114.9 kilometers long, connecting Tbaung Khmum Province and Pailin Province, and is an important part of Cambodia's central and eastern road network. The project is a buyer's credit project under favorable terms from the Chinese government, constructed by Shanghai Construction Group Co., Ltd., with preferential loans provided by the Export-Import Bank of China, with a contract amount of approximately USD 130 million. The project commenced on April 2, 2021, and is scheduled for completion and acceptance on July 31, 2024
