
Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory has launched the new version of Model Y for the first batch export
With the new version of the Model Y produced at Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory starting deliveries in the domestic market, bulk deliveries to international markets also began on April 14. At 1:00 PM on April 14, the Panamanian roll-on/roll-off ship "Great Step" docked at berth 3 of Shanghai South Port, planning to roll out 3,499 electric vehicles produced by Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory for export during its stay at the port, including 3,015 units of the new version of the Tesla Model Y, marking its first bulk export. Driven by the new Model Y and various new models, the automobile export volume at Shanghai South Port saw a significant increase in April. The first batch of the new version of the Tesla Model Y is expected to complete all loading tasks by 11:30 PM on April 15, before heading to the next port, Canberra, Australia
