The electric vehicle (EV) maker officially launched the four-seat Zeekr 009 Grand Collector's Edition at an event today, with a starting price of RMB 899,000 ($123,150). This increases the number of variants of the Zeekr 009 Grand to two, and is RMB 110,000, or 13.94 percent, higher than the regular Zeekr 009 Grand's RMB 789,000 yuan. The Zeekr 009 is a 6-seater/7-seater MPV that currently starts at RMB 439,000 in China. It was initially launched on November 1, 2022, and deliveries started on January 15, 2023. On April 19, 2024, Zeekr launched the Zeekr 009 Grand to target business owners and CEOs. It was a more luxurious four-seat variant of the regular Zeekr 009, and was only offered in one trim before today. In terms of vehicle specifications, the Zeekr 009 Grand Collector's Edition measures 5,217 mm in length, 2,024 mm in width and 1,812 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3,205 mm. It continues the Zeekr 009 Grand's protection of privacy, with the glass appearing solid black in its darkest state. This luxury MPV features exclusive elements, including gold emblems and a unique design, targeting affluent customers. Deliveries are set to begin in June, with the model maintaining the same specifications as the regular Grand variant. Zeekr aims to capture a significant share of the ultra-luxury market in China, having delivered 3,672 units of the Zeekr 009 in March alone.
