Trump attributes the "good aspects" of the economy to himself and blames the "bad aspects" on Biden
In an interview on Sunday, U.S. President Trump attributed the "good aspects" of the economy to himself, while stating that the "bad aspects" were caused by former President Joe Biden. Trump defended his tariff policy, despite the fact that the announcement of the policy triggered economic uncertainty. Trump said, "Ultimately, I am responsible for everything, but I have only been in office for a little over three months." He also added, "The tariffs are just beginning to take effect... Tariffs will make us rich. We will become a very wealthy country." This is not the first time Trump has attempted to shift the blame to his predecessor. Just last week, he blamed Biden for the contraction of the U.S. economy in the first quarter of this year
