Swire plans to spin off THAINAMTHIP for listing on the Thailand Stock Exchange
Swire A (00019.HK) and Swire B (00087.HK) announced that they propose to spin off THAINAMTHIP CORPORATION PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED (referred to as TCPCL) and independently list it on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
Swire stated that TCPCL is currently its indirectly held non-wholly-owned subsidiary. The TCPCL group primarily engages in the formulation, packaging, distribution, and sale of non-alcoholic ready-to-drink beverages in 63 out of 77 provinces in Thailand and Laos, with the trademarks of these beverages owned by The Coca-Cola Company.
Upon completion of the proposed spin-off, it is expected that TCPCL will remain a non-wholly-owned subsidiary of the company
