China Association of Automobile Manufacturers: In March, the total import and export value of automotive goods in China was USD 23.82 billion, a month-on-month increase of 32.1%

According to data compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers from the General Administration of Customs, in March 2025, the total import and export value of automotive goods was USD 23.82 billion, a month-on-month increase of 32.1% and a year-on-year decrease of 0.2%. Among them, the import value was USD 3.67 billion, a month-on-month increase of 3.8% and a year-on-year decrease of 30.4%; the export value was USD 20.15 billion, a month-on-month increase of 38.9% and a year-on-year increase of 8.4%. From January to March 2025, the cumulative total import and export value of automotive goods nationwide was USD 65.14 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 4.6%. Among them, the import value was USD 10.14 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 35.6%; the export value was USD 55 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.6%
