The Director of the Macao Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau, Wu Huixian, takes office

The Director of the Macao Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau, Wu Huixian, was sworn in yesterday (7th), with the ceremony presided over by the Secretary for Economy and Finance, Dai Jianye, and witnessed by the Director of the Secretary for Economy and Finance's Office, Luo Zhihui.

In her speech, Wu Huixian stated that her important mission in the future will be to "promote the legal, healthy, and orderly development of the gaming industry," seizing opportunities for the development of the gaming industry, leveraging Macao's unique advantages, promoting moderate diversification of industries, and consolidating the construction of a world tourism and leisure center. At the same time, she will introduce information technology to enhance the intelligent management level of the industry, allowing the industry to develop healthily and orderly in accordance with the law. She will also focus on coordinating and supervising the effective implementation of non-gaming elements to assist Macao's economy in moderate diversification and the coordinated development of different industries
