Tesla appoints a senior executive from the Mexican restaurant Chipotle to its board of directors

Tesla (TSLA.US) has added Chipotle Mexican Grill's senior executive to its board.

Tesla stated in a regulatory filing on Friday that Jack Hartung will join Tesla as a director and a member of the board's audit committee starting June 1. The 67-year-old Jack Hartung has served as Chipotle's Chief Financial Officer for over twenty years and recently transitioned to Chief Strategy Officer
