London Stock Market Rises on the 16th
On December 16, the Financial Times 100 Index in the London Stock Market closed at 8,684.56 points, up 50.81 points from the previous trading day, with a rise of 0.59%. All three major European stock indices rose that day. In terms of individual stocks, financial stocks led the gains in the London Stock Market, with the top five gainers being: British American Tobacco up 3.57%, GSK up 2.35%, financial investment company St. James's Place up 2.15%, Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust up 1.95%, and F&C Investment Trust up 1.93%
