CHML's subsidiary Zhongshan Changhong plans to invest 296 million yuan to build an air conditioning project with an annual production capacity of 4 million sets to meet the capacity demand of overseas markets. The project is expected to start in January 2027 and be put into production in September, aiming to enhance production capacity, ensure high-quality standards, and strengthen market competitiveness
According to the announcement from Changhong Meiling (000521.SZ), in line with its strategic development plan and operational needs, the company’s subsidiary, Zhongshan Changhong Electric Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhongshan Changhong"), plans to invest approximately RMB 296 million in the construction of a single-shift annual production capacity of 4 million air conditioning units (hereinafter referred to as the "Air Conditioning Project") to address the capacity demand for overseas air conditioning business sales.
Project implementation time: The project is expected to start in January 2027 after the completion of the new factory building in Guangdong Changhong, with official production commencing in early September 2027, planning for a single-shift annual production capacity of 4 million air conditioning units.
The investment by Zhongshan Changhong in the construction of the single-shift annual production capacity of 4 million air conditioning units is an important strategic move to deepen the company's industrial layout. Once the project is put into production, it will directly enhance Zhongshan Changhong's air conditioning production capacity, effectively meet the capacity demand for the company's future overseas air conditioning sales, help build an integrated intelligent manufacturing demonstration base, respond promptly to customized order demands from customers, ensure manufacturing efficiency, guarantee high-quality product standards, and ultimately enhance the market competitiveness and customer satisfaction of the company's air conditioning business
