The People's Bank of China and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange issued a draft for public consultation, proposing a fund management policy for overseas-listed companies, requiring that funds raised from overseas listings, as well as proceeds from share reductions or transfers, should generally be remitted back to the domestic market. Funds can be repatriated in foreign currency or RMB, and related funds can be transferred in and out through capital account settlement accounts.
