Xiaomi Corporation released its Q1 2025 financial report today. In the investor conference call, Xiaomi partner and president Lu Weibing discussed the application planning for the self-developed Xuanjie chip. He stated that Xiaomi is starting with the most challenging flagship chip and will consider other options after achieving the expected results, with no plans to develop non-flagship chips at this time. "First, we need to get the flagship chip right and the Modem right; we have now achieved 4G with the Modem, and next, we will tackle 5G." Additionally, he mentioned that Xiaomi's self-developed chips will only focus on flagship products, and the adoption rate in products will not be very high.
