GameStop spent over 500 million USD to purchase its first batch of Bitcoin
Video game retailer GameStop (GME.US) announced on Wednesday that it has officially purchased 4,710 bitcoins, worth over $500 million, to demonstrate that the company has begun implementing its cryptocurrency purchasing plan.
This purchase marks the company's first investment in bitcoin, involving an amount of $512.6 million
