
Toyota's first D-class sedan equipped with HarmonyOS cockpit, the Platinum Smart 7, is scheduled to launch next year
On May 31st, Toyota's exclusive all-electric series TOYOTA bZ made its debut as a family of products, independently showcased next to the booths of FAW Toyota and GAC Toyota at the 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Auto Expo. According to Toyota, the TOYOTA bZ series was born in 2022 and has developed a product lineup covering sedans, SUVs, and crossovers, including the Platinum Smart 4X, bZ3, Platinum Smart 3X, and bZ5, targeting different customer groups in the Chinese market. Additionally, it plans to launch Toyota's first D-class sedan, the Platinum Smart 7, equipped with the HarmonyOS cockpit in 2026
