The Trump administration cuts contracts, shifting focus to technology companies
According to reports, the Trump administration's review of federal contractors has entered a new phase, focusing on technology companies. The U.S. General Services Administration sent letters to 10 technology contractors, including Dell and CDW, requesting executives to justify the rationale for their work and identify areas for cuts. The letter pointed out that the U.S. spends $82 billion annually on IT products and services, and the complex procurement process has led to "excessive markups and cost increases for taxpayers," stating that "this must change."
