
In May, Macau's gaming revenue increased by 5% year-on-year, reaching a new high in over five years
The Macao Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau announced that the gaming revenue in May was MOP 21.193 billion, an increase of 5% year-on-year; it rose 12.4% month-on-month, marking the highest monthly figure since January 2020 (MOP 22.12 billion). Citigroup had previously estimated that Macao's gaming revenue for May would reach MOP 21.25 billion.
In the first five months of this year, gaming revenue totaled MOP 97.707 billion, an increase of 1.7% year-on-year
