IBM opens watsonx artificial intelligence lab in New York
IBM (IBM.US) unveiled its watsonx AI Labs on Monday, an innovation center laboratory located in New York City, aimed at accelerating the development of enterprise artificial intelligence solutions.
The laboratory is situated in IBM's office at One Madison and will serve as a collaborative space for AI developers, startups, and large companies to co-create applications based on generative and agent-based AI technologies.
Ritika Gunnar, General Manager of IBM Data and AI, emphasized the laboratory's role in building transformative AI tools. watsonx AI Labs will provide guidance and potential investments through IBM's $500 million enterprise AI venture fund to support local talent and startups
