KML TECH expects a pre-tax profit of no more than HKD 200,000 for the fiscal year 2025, turning a profit compared to a loss of HKD 13.944 million for the year ending March 31, 2024. The profit is mainly attributed to an increase in gross profit to approximately HKD 39 million and a reduction in administrative expenses to approximately HKD 41 million. Contributing factors include the good progress of high-margin projects and effective administrative cost control measures
According to the announcement from KML TECH (08065), the group expects to achieve a pre-tax profit of no more than approximately HKD 200,000 in the fiscal year 2025, while it anticipates a pre-tax loss of approximately HKD 13.944 million for the year ending March 31, 2024. Based on preliminary reviews, the board believes that the expected profit is mainly due to an increase in gross profit to approximately HKD 39 million and a reduction in administrative expenses to approximately HKD 41 million in the fiscal year 2025. The improvement is primarily attributed to (i) several higher-margin projects progressing well during the year and the actual costs of certain projects during the warranty period being lower than expected; and (ii) the effective implementation of administrative expense control measures
