XIN YUAN ENT appoints independent legal advisors, independent forensic investigators, and independent internal control consultants for the special committee
XIN YUAN ENT announced the appointment of independent legal advisors, independent forensic investigators, and independent internal control consultants to comply with the resumption guidance requirements. The special committee has engaged an independent law firm to provide advice, terminate the agreement procedure investigation, and appoint external independent accountants to conduct a forensic investigation. At the same time, the internal control consulting firm will conduct an independent review of the company's internal control system
According to the announcement from XIN YUAN ENT (01748), in light of the resumption guidance (a) requiring the company to conduct an appropriate independent forensic investigation, the special committee has (i) appointed an independent third-party law firm to provide advice to the special committee; (ii) resolved to terminate the agreement procedure investigation; and (iii) appointed an external independent accounting firm to conduct an independent forensic investigation.
Given that the resumption guidance (d) stipulates that the company must conduct an independent internal control review and demonstrate that it has established adequate internal controls and procedures to fulfill its responsibilities under the listing rules, the company has engaged an internal control consulting firm to conduct an independent review of the internal control systems of the company and its main operating subsidiaries' key processes
